Trick or Treatment Exhibition at Kyneton Museum
The Kyneton Museum is a fascinating place for the entire family to explore, with the current exhibition, Trick or Treatment on display until the Sunday 16 October. Medical quackery was rife in the Victorian era with pills and potions to ‘cure’ anything from baldness to dimples! Trick or Treatment explores the stories behind this era of scammers and theorists through objects from both the Kyneton Museum collection and the University of Melbourne Medical Museum collections.

Friday 19 August - Romeo & Juliet, Kyneton Town Hall
Join Melbourne City Ballet for their reimagining of William Shakespeare’s most popular work Romeo & Juliet.
Known for their unique choreography and exceptional artists, Melbourne City Ballet has quickly grown on the Australian Arts scene under the direction of Michael Pappalardo. Featuring a cast of 14 artists, Melbourne City Ballet’s Romeo & Juliet stars Yuiko Masukawa and Brendan Bradshaw. Expect beautiful costumes, and an unmistakably evocative score as you are swept away on a journey to the city of Verona and into the lives of two-star crossed lovers.

The Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival held during the first two weeks in September announces that 'Spring Starts Here' with an exciting series of activities and includes visual and performing arts, crafts, gardens, flower shows, markets and hospitality.

The Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival - Each year in the month of September
The Kyneton Daffodil and Arts Festival is unique; a premier central Victorian Spring celebration, with its symbolic daffodils heralding new growth and sunshine.


The Kyneton Antique Fair - first weekend of September each year.

The Kyneton Farmer's Market is held in St Pauls Park in Piper St on the 2nd Saturday morning of each month

The Kyneton races host 15 meetings each year and is regarded as one of Victoria’s most picturesque courses. Highlight is the Kyneton Cup meeting held after Melbourne Day each year.
